Join the SLHS Band & Guard Board
The Seven Lakes High School Band & Guard Boosters Nominating Committee is seeking candidates to fill positions on the 2010-2011 Band & Guard Board.
What an opportunity to be an integral part of the leadership of the Spartan Band & Guard Boosters! No prior board experience is necessary. We encourage many positions to be co-shared so the responsibilities can be divided.
We know and appreciate how busy you are.
Booster Board positions are the following:
President*
Treasurer
Membership Vice President
Secretary
Uniform Vice President
Communications Coordinator
Chaperone Vice President
Parliamentarian
Fundraising Vice President
Color Guard Coordinator
* only past Board members are eligible to run for the office of President
Please fill out the Expression of Interest form and return it to vpmembership@slhsband.org or drop it in the band safe.
Deadline for submissions is March 1, 2010.

52 Students Earn Region Band Honors
Congratulations to all the Seven Lakes Band Members who participated in the Region 23 Band Auditions. We had 52 students earn Region Band Honors, 5 students earned District Honors, and 15 students advanced on to the Area Audition in January. This is an absolutely fantastic showing for our students and their individual effort and accomplishments. Thanks to all the Seven Lakes Band Family for their support of the students and the program.

This fall we had over 100 of our SLHS Band Parents Chaperone or work Loading Crew logging over 3000 Volunteers Hours. Thank you so much for taking the time to get involved and provide our Band Members with everything they needed to perform their very best.
